I agree with you completely. I live here in the USA, and I frlmiy believe that the generations are getting to be SUCH sissies. How do we expect these children to build character? What happened to paddling in schools? I would have NEVER acted up if there was the possibility of being paddled in school. Kids need to learn how to be competitive. We can't always be worried about hurting little Jimmy's feelings, because he will be SO distraught when he gets to the real world. The first time a kid gets a scraped knee, they will be TERRIFIED.America is offering TONS of TV shows and video games that show violence to children (granted it's the duty of the parents to monitor their children), yet the children never understand what actual PAIN is. Ratings are changing so that a child has to be older to watch or play, but at the same time America is making absolute pansies out of children by taking away any competitive edge and by making rough-housing wrong'.I'm not saying that people should beat their kids black and blue, but I was spanked as a child, and I turned out perfectly fine. The majority of the people I know were spanked, and they all turned out fine. TO contrast, my fiance was NEVER spanked, and he turned out fine, but he also participated in COMPETITIVE sport from the youngest age possible.I think that SOMETHING has to be put in a child's life to make them aware that in the REAL world, there is a hierarchy. I apologize for that rant I hope it made sense. http://nsdvgazbuju.com miypdiex [link=http://mmzklis.com]mmzklis[/link] |
